Attached to the Sustainability & Corporate Responsibility whole team, as a CR Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for all kinds of collaborations with other departments (Dhaka Liaison Office, Sustainability & CR, Sourcing, Operations, …) to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution. Consults with the top management as needed to resolve difficult legal compliance issues.
The candidate will be answerable to the Compliance programs and their related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct & Acts as an independent review and evaluation body to ensure that compliance Issues/concerns within the organization are being appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved.
The candidate’s main focus for the first year will be CSR, but step-by-step the role will also include more global Sustainability matters such as environmental impacts projects.
The candidate will be in charge to implement the Company HQ Sustainability & CR Strategy by translating the policies and projects with a hands-on mindset. You will monitor and report the results.

Job Profile / Responsibilities:

Knowledgeable with the Bangladesh Labor Rules to maintain & to check all compliance/noncompliance issues for all factories.
-
Provides reports on a regular basis, and as directed or requested, to keep the Corporate Responsibility Team of the Board and Senior Management informed of the operation and progress of compliance efforts.

Conducts Initial/Follow up/Annual Audit to develop all factories (BD, PK, CN, …) which are working with the group.

Strengthen the company image internally with its suppliers and customers.

To develop the suppliers’ working environment and make them fit to work with the group.

To reduce noncompliance issues by factory development and help them to achieve good score through audit.

To support the Sourcing & Merchandising colleagues while evaluating new suppliers factories on the CSR and environmental point of views.

To support the Certification processes at HQ with all the information and documents needed.

To documents and record the discussions, actions and follow-ups to support the Due Diligence processes and to be able to prove what the company does in terms of Sustainability and CSR.

To Plan you work and the activities precisely and well in advance.

Able to do other related tasks assigned by Management.

Bachelor of Law (LLB)

University graduate (LLB & LLM).
Experience :

At least 5 year(s)

Minimum experience of five (5) years in similar position and textile industry.

Knowledgeable in aspect of Corporate Social Compliance.

Experience or at least strong interest in more wide sustainability concerns about environment protection

Experience with BSCI and/or Fair Wear Foundation.

Training received on SA8000 Basic & Advanced is a plus.

Good command of English, both written and oral.

Good computer knowledge in at least Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word & Powerpoint).
