Digital Security Rules, 2020

The Government of Bangladesh through a gazette on April 9th, 2018 published the Digital Security Act, 2018 to make provisions for ensuring digital security and identification, prevention, suppression and trial of offences committed through digital device and for matters ancillary thereto and subsequently enacted the following Rules exercising the power given to the government by the said Act.

Digital Security Act, 2018

The Government of Bangladesh through a gazette on April 9th, 2018 published the Digital Security Act, 2018 to make provisions for ensuring digital security and identification, prevention, suppression and trial of offences committed through digital device and for matters ancillary thereto.

Power of Attorney Rules, 2015

The Government of Bangladesh through a gazette on July 23, 2015 published the Power of Attorney Rules 2015 which was promulgated under the Power of Attorney Act 2012.

Bangladesh Registration Rules, 2014

The Government of Bangladesh through a gazette on October 27, 2014 published the Bangladesh Registration Rules, 2014 which replaced the Bangladesh Registration Rules, 1973 and became effective from November 16, 2014. By publishing the 2014 Rule, the government has made some significant changes to the Registration Act, 1908, Transfer of Property Act, 1882 and enacted the Power of Attorney Act 2012. The 2014 Rule has made out several conditions that shall be satisfied for registration of a deed and also prescribed forms of deeds for transfer of property with specific rules for maintaining the records, unavoidable delays, commission and visit, deeds submitted for registration after the specified time limit, registration of deeds executed outside Bangladesh, certified copies, and power of attorney.

Table of Fees 2014 of Registration Act, 1908

In pursuance of the provision of section 78 of the Registration Act, 1908 (XVI of 1908), the following Table of Fees, 2014 has been prepared by the Law and Justice Division of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, is published for general information. This Table of Fees came into force with effect from the 16th November 2014 and supersede the Table of Fees at present in force with effect from the said date. The Table of Fees covered and described fees in respect of the provisions of the Registration Act, 1908 (XVI of 1908).
