This role will directly report to the Director & Head of Legal, Bangladesh and will be responsible for providing legal support and guidance to business in its effort to meet customers’ expectations while remaining compliant with country and industry-specific laws and regulations.

Job Profile / Responsibilities:

- Provide day-to-day legal support to all business partners.
- Draft, develop vetting and review of different legal documents, external communications, provide opinion and support in different projects and initiatives.
- Assess potential legal risk and advice on the mitigation plan to minimize legal risk and exposure.
- Advise internal business partners on general business laws including but not limited to corporate matters, insurance, procurement, distribution, sustainability issues etc.
- Review and advise on legal implications of internal policies, procedures and other documents and ensures that they are compliant with all statutory and legal requirements.
- Legal oversight on claims management matters including advice on claim settlement, processes and systems.
- Support in litigations to ensure that all matters are handled efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Research and analyze new laws, rules, regulations, regulatory guidelines and directives and advice business partners.
- Maintain & archive necessary legal documents, files & prepare reports.
- Any other assignment given by the Dept. Head from time to time.

Educational Requirements:

LL.B Hon’s and LL.M from a reputed university
Experience :
-
- At least 6 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in the corporate sector, especially in MNC is preferred
